Back in person after a pandemic-driven hiatus and webinar series, Alliance Ground International is proud and excited to be attending the annual AirCargo Conference next Monday through Wednesday in New Orleans.

AirCargo is a chance when many of our customers and stakeholders come together at the same event. As a ground handler, while our primary customers are the airlines whose cargo we move in and out of our buildings, we’re equally aware of the importance of being available to our stakeholders, including the airforwarders and truckers directing that cargo as well as picking up and dropping off at all of our locations around the United States.

AGI’s investment in people, technology and facilities throughout the pandemic, coupled with our acquisition of MIC Cargo last October have further strengthened our position as a leading ground handler for airlines.

Our CEO, Jared Azcuy, will also be featured as a participant on a panel discussing the state of air cargo congestion. He’ll be joining a panel of air cargo stakeholders including forwarders and truckers to tell AGI’s story of success and highlight our roadmap and continue to play a role in ensuring that the air cargo supply chain remains open and unimpeded while other modes of transport remain challenged.

We as much as anyone reacts to the needs of our customers, both scheduled airlines and charter operators. From the onslaught of PPE that came throughout 2020 and has returned to a noticeable pace in the past four months and the changing complexion of cargo moving through our buildings like e-Commerce and mail, we have evolved and adapted our processes.

There is also excitement as we expand in Pittsburgh and prepare to open new facilities at JFK, Newark and Rickenbacker in Columbus, Ohio.

Jared’s participation in the panel, as well as our engagement in local markets and participation in discussions, roundtables and seminars is focused on communication with those who have daily interactions on the phone, at our customer service windows and on the docks.

Here’s hoping we see you in New Orleans. In addition to Jared, Jerry Finn, our President and Warren Jones our Vice President of Business Development will be attending. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone and wish you a very successful AirCargo.
